I’M DONE!

Hey Ya’ll,

 

It has been a long life and I am going to take some time for me. I am done with responsibility. I am done with parenting. I am done with adulthood. I am making a promise to you and myself that I am done and I am taking the rest of the year off without pay.

 

For the rest of this year:

I will not work another minute for my employer again this year.

I am not going to pay my cell phone bill or any other bill again this year.

I am not pay taxes again this year.

I am not going shopping again this year.

I am not going to wash my truck again this year.

I am not going to get my hair cut again this year.

I am not going to the beach again this year.

I am not going to shower or shave again this year.

I am not going to cut my toe nails again this year.

I am not going to diet again this year.

I am not going to read a self-help book again this year.

I am not going to cook or clean anything again this year.

I am not going to exercise again this year.

I am not going to study again this year.

I am not going to get up early again this year.

I am not going to make the bed again this year.

I am not going to sign up for any social media sites again this year.

I am not going to read the labels on my medication again this year…well…

It is so liberating to plant the flag of insubordination into the ground. It feels so good to tell the world “up your nose with a rubber hose.” Anyone who wants to join me should throw out the #metoo onto your social media. Since I am not on Twitter or Facebook, I guess I wont know if you joined me so maybe you can just tell me here.

Info Note: My daughter just told me not to use #metoo, because apparently it has already been taken and means something else. She tried to explain it to me but I told her that I am not going to learn anything new this year. She rolled her eyes and rode her hover board away. You can’t reason with a thirteen year old.
