Dominoes

Hey Ya’ll,
I know I said I would be cranking out new material on a more regular basis, but that hasn’t happened the way I anticipated. Lots of things going on here on this corner of the internet. I am still finishing up re-write 3.0 of the yet to see the daylight book, my son just finished up his first soccer season playing for his school and he is gearing up for his first official basketball season, my daughter is two months into her Freshman year of high school, my work is still very time consuming and since there isn’t enough, I am in the finishing phase of starting a new project and in the beginning phase of starting a third project.
I’m not ready to talk about either of the new projects yet, but that will happen soon enough. It is enough to make my head hurt which brings me to this. Think about all the time it takes to set up a few dominoes and how fast they fall. I am deep into the setting up phase of all my projects. When I get the courage to push the first one over, I will let you know.

It took me almost 15 years (on and [mostly] off) for the first novel to emerge into the daylight.
believe it or not that is hugely encouraging. Im ten years in and crafting the 3rd total re-write of book 1. All of that sets up book 2 which is already written. Victory goes to those that persevere. You are a winner!
Keep at it. Don’t skimp on the re-writes and editing. Just be sure your wit and sense of humor show through. I wrote the second book while working on selling the first. Ended up selling both and then went from there. I wrote about it here:

I am humbled that you signed up. I never thought of it as a hook, it was motivation to putting it out there so I dont chicken out. Pushed over the biggest domino today, I contacted the four people in my world that are vital to my success. Prayers and positive thoughts are more than welcome.
