      Thank you for the kind words. Sorry it took so long to respond. I ate too much turkey and have been asleep for several days now.


  2. That bird looks amazing! I’ve never tried smoking it before. Thanks for giving me an idea for next year!

    • Dont wait until next year. Turkey is on sale right now so go out, buy a bird and make a memory.

      First, read the info from this link.

      I followed this almost exactly and it was amazing. A couple of tips, the first is to melt some butter and mix it with vegetable oil before you inject it. I went with butter only on the practice bird and thought it was still a little dry. The oil really helped to moisten the meat.

      The second is to invite loser friends over for the first bird. The first bird was good but save your close friends for the second bird. Once you work out the kinks, you will walk on water after they eat. It was crazy good.
