some pictures did not make it…

November 6, 2012

This is the Random House Building. It is just three blocks from the David Letterman Show. Easy commute to sign the book deal and then appear on his show that evening. They kicked me out after the third picture from inside the lobby. One day they will beg me for a picture there!

My sister goes here all the time. She handles the Random House accounts for the book printing company she works for.

  2. That is Great News. Attention in the Compound: We now offically know someone inside the publishing industry. Everybody send your work to Icabu’s sister. Contracts for ALL!!!!

    Yea Icabu!!!!

Well, my sister doesn’t exactly publish, she’s on the manufacturing end. She works at the plant that actually prints books on paper. Not exactly the same, but a necessary step in the process. The only contracts she works with is how many copies the publishers want printed – less and less these days due to ‘electronic substitution’.

  3. If she can get us past security and into the offices of all the bubbas who make the decisions. I will take my chances with her. Book deals for all, hurray for your sister!!!!
